DONATE BOOKS, SHARE STORIES

At Readers we believe that books are meant to add value to our lives by allowing us to travel to places where wardrobes take you to a magical world or where you receive a letter telling you that you've been accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Books give us an opportunity to escape the real world and they let us meet amazing characters that sometimes change our lives forever.

We all have that one book (or books) that touched us and that we'll continue to re-read for the rest of our lives and that no matter what we'll treasure it (or them) forever. But (there's always a but), we have also read books that were kinda meh, or books that we straight up didn't like. We believe that these books don't serve their purpose by living in your booksheleves accumulating dust over time.

That's why we created the donations program here at Readers. If you have books lying around your house and you don't know what to do with them, we invite you to donate them, to share those stories with someone else (the book you didn't like may become someone elses favourite) so that that book can serve its purpose again.

This is how it works:

1. Choose the books you want to donate (make sure they are in good condition).

2. Contact us via e-mail or Instagram DM.

3. If you're in Bogotá between 72nd and 187th streets and between 2nd and 72nd avenues we'll pick-up the books for you. If you are located in Bogotá outside said region or if you're in other cities in Colombia, you'll have to ship the books to us (don't worry we'll assume the cost of this shipping).

4. Depending on the number of books you donated, you'll receive a discount code you can redeem on your next purchase (on selected books). For more information regarding these discounts, please go to our FAQ page. If you still have questions after reading this information, feel free to contact us and we'll gladly help you out.

5. That's it, we hope you join our community and we encourage you to donate books and share stories.
